Thailand hold a memorial to commemorated Southeast Asian forced laborers that died when building the “Death Railway”. With many British prisoners of war being forced into labor, a new exhibition in U.K. honors these soldiers that endured brutal conditions “Death Railway”.

“Death Railway” is a railroad built by Japanese Army during World War II that connects Burma (modern day Myanmar) and Thailand. It was a project where both Allied prisoners of war and Asian laborers were forced to build with over 100,000 people dying due to brutal working condition.
