Newly Found Evidence About Japan’s Biochemical Unit during World War II

New documents regarding Japan’s Unit 731 and other biochemical units have been released to the public. These documents highlight how U.S. made immunity deals with unit leaders for experimental data. They also contained evidence of organized germ warfare and biochemical experiments, despite decades of official denial and concealment from Japan.

Unit 731″ was a covert biological and chemical weapons research unit of the Imperial Japanese Army that conducted lethal human experimentation on thousands of captives, many including Chinese and Korean civilians. Experiments included vivisection (surgery on live, conscious subjects), forced infections with lethal diseases like anthrax and plague, frostbite testing, and chemical weapons effects testing.
