Recognizing Japanese Americans’ Effort During World War II

A play “Secret Warriors” spotlights little-known contribution of Nisei that served as translators and interrogators in World War II. Moreover, all-Japanese American Battalion was discovered that liberated Jewish prisoners that were forced on Nazi death march, recognizing Japanese Americans’ efforts in Allied victory.

“Nisei” is a Japanese word for second-generation Japanese American, where many served in U.S. military during World War II as translator and interrogators in the Pacific Front, while some were positioned in the battlefront on European Front.
